The characters in this journey are largely real, some of them having the same name as someone inEarly twentieth century, some of them did notIt bears the same name, but even if they did not go through these events,It was told on their tongues throughout the journey - they must have been there, thinking the same thing.thinking, and they would probably do the same things if they had the chance...
Some of these characters actually rode the Hejaz train, perhaps notTheir journey is the same one told here, but they walked the same path.They lived through most of the events that took place between 1906 and1920.. February 1920.. Date of the last voyage of the Hejaz Steamer..

Ayman Hawira
An Egyptian engineer who graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
He writes for several websites, including Sasa Post, Huffington Post, Izaat, Türkiye Post, Arabi 21, Al Jazeera Blogs, and Raqeem.
Member of the Basma Research Team and co-authored the book "History as It Was", published in 2016.
